Step 2: Optimize Router Placement

Move your router closer to the front door or place it on a higher shelf to minimize physical obstructions. Ensure it is not tucked inside a cabinet or placed directly behind a large metal object, which can block signal propagation.

Step 3: Clear Physical Obstructions

Identify thick walls, mirrors, or metal doors between the router and the doorbell. If possible, reposition the router to create a more direct line-of-sight path to the entrance.

Step 4: Adjust Frequency Bands

If your router supports dual-band Wi-Fi, try switching the doorbell to the 2.4GHz band. While slower than 5GHz, 2.4GHz has a longer range and penetrates walls and solid objects more effectively.
